The only way that we are worthy to stand is through the strength of Christ and the grace of God.
We sometimes we get recognition for something that we have done. Compared to Christ’s sacrifice, it seems to be inappropriate.
Take a look and consider the next three Sundays after the crucifixion.
Spring is a time of refreshing the land, and as it happens, also our spirits. When we partake of the communion, we are refreshing our spirits and in a sense the spirit of Christ.
We all suffer anguish at times, and God (through Christ) truly understands that.
The thief on the cross was powerless to do good works or act in any way to deserve salvation. But Grace is the true power.
We are told that we sometimes entertain angels unawares. I wonder if perhaps sometimes we “entertain” them within our own selves.
