We all struggle to believe at times, and we need ways to remind ourselves of why we should.
I see people that cannot “see” God because of suffering. We must push through and see God through His suffering.
Do you realize that we have all spilled the blood of Christ?
We are all ignorant of the fullness and depth of God’s plan and providence.
Communion with Christ means we have to slow down and concentrate on the Great Message.
Communion and Community are related concepts which need to be manifested through the Great Communion, as we are the Body of Christ.
Sometimes we are in a situation where we have nothing to give and ask for something outrageous. That’s what one criminal on the cross did – and he got a great answer! The short version of this communion comment is here: A more complete article, with references is here:
We think of sacrifice at a very low level – giving a few percent of our means, etc., but true sacrifice is giving up something that is loved.
We get confused with our wants and our needs; what we think are needs are only what we want. Christ gave up what He needed because He wanted us. You_Cant_Always_Get_What_You_Want
